We are delighted to announce that Kevin Thinks by Gail Watts has been named as Notable Book by The Children’s Book Council of Australia.
Kevin Thinks has been recognised alongside ten others in the Eve Pownall Award for Information Books. Over 400 submissions are submitted each year to the CBCA panel with the hope of being recognised in the country wide award. The panel, made up of 6 specialist judges, volunteer their services for the lengthy 11 month judging period. The Children’s Book Council of Australia is a volunteer run, not for profit, organisation that strives to encourage a passion for literature in children and young adults.
JKP would like to congratulate Gail Watts on this fantastic achievement and well deserved recognition.
