We’re joined on the podcast by dementia activist, Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador, Kent & Midway NHS Dementia Envoy and author of Dear Alzheimer’s: A Diary of Living with Dementia, Keith Oliver.
Keith was diagnosed with young onset dementia in 2010 at the age of 55 and has since become a leading activist for dementia care, and an international speaker.
In conversation with Maria McDonagh from Alzheimer’s Society we discuss how dementia has impacted Keith’s life, with all its challenges but also opportunities, how he has become a spokesperson for everyone living with dementia and how he has managed to live a fulfilled and rewarding life after his diagnosis.
