Linda Miller PowerpointAbout this course: This is a practical one day course which will get you thinking differently about autism/SEND & behavior and provide you with a toolkit to use time and time again. The course provides an overview of the 5P Approach Framework featured in Linda Miller’s book ‘Practical Behaviour Management Solutions for Children and Teens with Autism’ and looks at how you can use it within your setting. Although the primary focus was (and continues to be) individuals with autism spectrum disorder or SEND, the 5P Approach’s flexible and personalised framework can be used within any organisation and with any individual whatever their needs.

Who Should Attend? This course is suitable for anyone interested in learning more about positive behaviour intervention. It is particularly suitable for teachers and professionals working with individuals with social communication disorders and/or SEND. The 5P Approach, with its
solution-focused framework is ideal for use by psychologists and other outreach professionals as a
basis for problem-solving discussions and intervention planning.
