ACT Workbook for OCD

We’re coming to the end of 2020’s OCD Week of Action, where the spotlight has been on accessing quality treatment for OCD. Over the last year or so JKP have tried particularly hard to offer more resources for those living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If you or someone you know are struggling for treatment, or think you/they could benefit from a complementary workbook to go alongside the treatment, please do have a browse of our supportive resources here.

We have featured tips from The ACT Workbook for Teens with OCD all week. It’s brand new to our collection and is special because it is the first workbook to use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for teens struggling with OCD. It helps the reader to overcome compulsive and avoidant behaviours in everyday situations, with top tips, examples of other teens’ experiences and lots of fun and helpful activities throughout.

Without further ado, here are a few chapters that might help you or someone you want to support:

Chapters 38 & 39: Treating Yourself with Kindness! & Getting Out of Your Mind and into Your Life
