We were thrilled to launch Reflective Practice in Mental Health last night at an event hosted by the book’s editors, Martin Webber (pictured) and Jack Nathan, at the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) in London – an appropriate venue given the book’s foundation in the knowledge, expertise and teaching of IoP staff.
The launch was particularly exciting for JKP as the book will be the first in a brand new series entitled ‘Reflective Practice in Social Care’ – intended to tackle the complexities and dilemmas that practitioners face every day using a combination of case examples, critical reflection and applied theory. This first book will shortly be joined by further titles Reflective Practice in Working with Vulnerable Children by James Blewett and Reflective Practice with Looked After Children in Care Proceedings by Anna Gupta.
We were joined on the night by series editor James Blewett and a host of contributors including Florian Ruths, Paul Godin, Rebecca Peters, Pete Fleischmann, Caroline Grimbley and Tony West.
JKP is grateful to all those who edited or contributed to the book for their hard work.
